About this light

Create a warm, low-profile glow with our walnut saucer ceiling light

Our walnut saucer ceiling light pairs a wide, gently sloping woodgrain brim with a polished gold canopy and a softly domed opal diffuser, so the light pools outward instead of glaring down. At just 10.5 cm deep it sits close to the ceiling, which makes it an easy fit for hallways, landings and low-ceilinged rooms where a hanging fixture would be in the way. The integrated LED means there is no bulb to buy, and a Triac dimming version is available if you want to soften the room at night. It suits kitchens, dining areas, entryways and bedrooms equally well.

Why this one

Why our walnut saucer ceiling light is a must-have in your home

  • Warm woodgrain and gold finish

the walnut-effect brim and polished gold canopy bring natural warmth to a ceiling without the bulk of a traditional fitting.

  • Slim, space-saving profile

a compact Ø24 cm disc that stands only 10.5 cm proud of the ceiling, so it works in hallways, landings and lower rooms.

  • Integrated LED, with a dimmable option

no bulb to buy or replace, and the Triac version dims smoothly from a standard thyristor wall dimmer.

Questions

Common questions

What bulb does it take?

None. The LEDs are built into the fitting, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws Approx. 14 W.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. Pair it with a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer. Older rotary dimmers made for incandescent bulbs can cause flicker or buzzing.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to the existing cable at your ceiling rose or wall point. That work should be done by a qualified electrician. A straight swap for an existing fitting is a routine job.

What colour is the light?

Warm white: the soft, golden tone of a traditional incandescent bulb. The most flattering choice for living rooms, bedrooms and dining.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?

Flush and semi-flush fittings need a flat surface to sit against, so a sloped ceiling usually needs a pendant instead. Send us a photo of the ceiling and we will advise before you order.
