Our story

Designed in the UK since 2020.

Purry Home started in London in 2020 with a short list of lights we wanted in our own homes and could not find at a fair price. We design our range in the UK, choose each light for the way it lights a room rather than the way it photographs, and keep the details on every page honest: sizes in centimetres, colour temperature in kelvin, what bulb it takes.

Today that range is more than 500 pieces: ceiling, wall, table and outdoor lighting, with rugs, clocks and other home décor alongside. It is looked after by a team of twenty in London and delivered across the UK, the US and the EU.

How we choose

Four things every light has to pass.

    Chosen for the light it gives

    We look at the glow before the shape: colour temperature, where the light falls, whether it dims. The specs on every product page come from that check.

  • Marble and brass wall light

    Designed in the UK

    Proportions, finishes and the light each piece gives are decided by our own team in London, for British rooms and British ceilings.

  • Cylinder pendants hanging over a kitchen island

    Made to measure on request

    Cable drops, rod lengths and canopies can be made to order, so a pendant sits exactly where it should over your table.

  • Amber glass ceiling light in a living room

    Fitted with confidence

    Every page says whether a light is plug-in or hardwired, and what bulb it takes. Hardwired fittings should be installed by a qualified electrician; we'll tell you what to ask for.
