What bulb does it take?

IT TAKES A STANDARD E14 CAP BULB, SOLD EVERYWHERE IN THE UK. Maximum 40 W. Choose an LED bulb for the longest life.

Is it dimmable?

No. It switches on and off at a single brightness. Do not fit it to a dimmer switch.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to the existing cable at your ceiling rose or wall point. That work should be done by a qualified electrician. A straight swap for an existing fitting is a routine job.
