About this light

Soften your ceiling with our sculpted walnut ceiling light

Our sculpted walnut ceiling light takes the smooth, irregular shape of a river stone and turns it into a quietly sculptural fitting for the ceiling. A rich walnut body curves around a white diffuser set slightly off-centre, so the light pools gently to one side and gives the whole piece a soft, organic sense of movement. At only 8 cm deep it stays close to the ceiling, making it a natural fit for a bedroom, living room, hallway or dining room where you want warmth without bulk.

Why this one

Why our sculpted walnut ceiling light is a must-have in your home

  • Organic pebble silhouette

the asymmetric, stone-like form reads as a design object by day and a soft glow by night — far more characterful than a plain round fitting.

  • Warm walnut and white

a genuine walnut wood body against a white diffuser brings natural texture that sits comfortably in both contemporary and traditional rooms.

  • High-quality, comfortable light

the integrated LED delivers a CRI 90 warm glow, so colours in your room look true and the light stays easy on the eye.

Questions

Common questions

What bulb does it take?

None. The LEDs are built into the fitting, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws Approx. 18 W (38 cm) · approx. 27 W (58 cm).

Is it dimmable?

Yes. Pair it with a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer. Older rotary dimmers made for incandescent bulbs can cause flicker or buzzing.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to the existing cable at your ceiling rose or wall point. That work should be done by a qualified electrician. A straight swap for an existing fitting is a routine job.

Can it go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which is for dry rooms only: keep it out of bathroom zones 0 to 2 and away from outdoor exposure.

What colour is the light?

It is switchable: 3000K–6000K. Warm white (around 3000K) is the cosy tone of a traditional bulb; neutral white (4000K) is crisper and suits kitchens and task areas; cool white (6000K+) reads bright and clinical.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?

Flush and semi-flush fittings need a flat surface to sit against, so a sloped ceiling usually needs a pendant instead. Send us a photo of the ceiling and we will advise before you order.
