About this light

Bring timeless elegance to your ceiling with our scrolled brass globe chandelier

Slender scrolled iron arms in hand-aged antique brass radiate from a glass-balustered central column, each one cradling a hand-blown glass globe, with a larger globe dropping below the canopy to close the silhouette. The proportion is light and the line continuous, giving the piece a turn-of-the-century character that sits comfortably in both traditional and transitional interiors. Five configurations from 3+1 to 8+1 heads make it equally at home over a dining table, in a sitting room, above a bay-window reading corner or in an entrance foyer.

Why this one

Why our scrolled brass globe chandelier is a must-have in your home

  • Four glass tints to set the mood

clear lets the brass scrollwork lead, white gives a soft milk-glass diffusion, blush pink casts a warm rose glow and pale blue reads cool and fresh.

  • Hand-aged brass, hand-blown glass

the antique brass finish is aged by hand and every globe is individually blown, so slight variations in tone and thickness give each piece its own artisanal character.

  • Fully dimmable for evening light

fit dimmable bulbs and a TRIAC dimmer and you can take the room from a bright dinner setting down to a soft, candle-like glow.

Questions

Common questions

What bulb does it take?

It takes a standard E27 cap bulb, sold everywhere in the UK. Choose an LED bulb for the longest life, and one marked dimmable if you plan to dim it.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. Pair it with a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer. Older rotary dimmers made for incandescent bulbs can cause flicker or buzzing.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to the existing cable at your ceiling rose or wall point. That work should be done by a qualified electrician. A straight swap for an existing fitting is a routine job.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?

Usually, yes. A pendant on a cable or rod hangs true on most slopes; only the ceiling plate needs to sit flat. Send us a photo of the ceiling and we will confirm before you order.
