What bulb does it take?

IT TAKES A STANDARD E27 CAP BULB, SOLD EVERYWHERE IN THE UK. Choose an LED bulb for the longest life, and one marked dimmable if you plan to dim it.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. Pair it with a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer. Older rotary dimmers made for incandescent bulbs can cause flicker or buzzing.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to the existing cable at your ceiling rose or wall point. That work should be done by a qualified electrician. A straight swap for an existing fitting is a routine job.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?

Flush and semi-flush fittings need a flat surface to sit against, so a sloped ceiling usually needs a pendant instead. Send us a photo of the ceiling and we will advise before you order.
