About this light

Create a sculptural centrepiece with our alabaster stone cascade chandelier

Hand-carved alabaster stones drop from draped chains to turn a dining table, kitchen island or stairwell into the focal point of the room. Every pendant hangs from its own ceiling plate on a 150 cm chain, so you decide how far apart and how far down each stone sits rather than accepting a fixed frame. Choose anything from a single sculptural pendant to a sweeping nine-head cascade, in a black or gold finish, and let the warm glow draw out the translucent veining in the natural stone.

Why this one

Why our alabaster stone cascade chandelier is a must-have in your home

  • Genuine natural alabaster

each cylinder is carved from carefully selected natural stone, so the layered veining and soft, jade-like lustre are unique to your piece.

  • Configured to your ceiling

pick one to nine heads and shorten each 150 cm chain link by link for a level line over a table or a staggered cascade down a stairwell.

  • Warm, atmospheric glow

a warm white 3000 K light source lights the stone from within, and the push-button switch will dim the fixture if you fit a dimmable bulb.

Questions

Common questions

What bulb does it take?

None. The LEDs are built into the fitting, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws Max 40 W.

Is it dimmable?

No. It switches on and off at a single brightness ( 3000K warm white). Do not fit it to a dimmer switch.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to the existing cable at your ceiling rose or wall point. That work should be done by a qualified electrician. A straight swap for an existing fitting is a routine job.

How low does it hang?

The suspension is set at installation to anything up to 150 cm from the ceiling. Over a dining table or island, aim for the bottom of the light to sit 75–90 cm above the surface; for walkways keep at least 2 m of head height.

What colour is the light?

Warm white ( 3000K warm white): the soft, golden tone of a traditional incandescent bulb. The most flattering choice for living rooms, bedrooms and dining.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?

Usually, yes. A pendant on a cable or rod hangs true on most slopes; only the ceiling plate needs to sit flat. Send us a photo of the ceiling and we will confirm before you order.
